The site of the new building for Bord Gáis’ distribution control building lies in a difficult extra-urban situation, wedged between a motorway and a major roads. The proposal was to create an introverted two and three storey building organised around a wild garden to provide an attractive working environment for staff, whilst responding to the local built scale.
