No.s 49 - 51 Amiens St.

The site at Nos.49-51 Amiens St. was a derelict site with No.49 having been lost entirely and No.50 only having its front façade.

The development compromising of 11 no. x apartments, was formed behind the retained façade of no. 50, so as to provide a new tall atrium space. The atrium space, three stories in height with a glass roof and open to the street over all levels, provides a generous entrance space.

The set-back from the original façade also allowed the new-build independence in terms of its design, particularly in relation to the floor to ceiling heights.

The primary facades were further enhanced through the reinstatement of the original lightwells onto Amiens St. which improves the civic realm while providing light to all the basement apartments. Completed December 2024
