This project involved the refurbishment and extension of a 4 storey townhouse in an Architectural Conservation Area in Bayswater, in West London. The ground floor living areas were severely compromised by a centrally located stair. The refurbishment works included re positioning the bottom two flight of the stair to provide larger living areas with improved physical and visual relationships. A new raised external terrace was provided at the rear with access off the kitchen through large sliding screens. Status: Completed Winter 2012.
