An existing stable block, located within the walled garden of a Victorian House, a Protected Structure, is adapted for re-use as a studio for a painter. The previous flat roof was removed and a new zinc roof with a curved profile was added, sitting on a new concrete band beam. A large frameless window provides north light to interior. A study mezzanine is provided sitting over storage units below. Status: Completed Winter 2009.
